Early Monday, May 15, 2006, Michael Glynn was severely injured in a drinking and driving crash near White River. He was on his way home from a graduation party.
The car Michael was driving hit an approach, and went airborne. Michael was ejected from the vehicle.
Two days later, on May 17, 2006, Michael died from his injuries. He was 18 years old.
Alcohol and speed were factors in this crash. Michael was not wearing his seatbelt. Had alcohol not been a factor, the crash might not have happened. Had Michael been wearing his seatbelt, he likely wouldn’t have been ejected from the car and would still be with us today.
Listen to Joyce Glynn, Michael’s mother, talk about the crash.
